We at Jackson Harlan  view the creation of buildings and spaces as a collaborative process. We look at our architecture and design not as the decoration of buildings and spaces but as a result when collective thought and action make order and beauty from ideas and random space. The collective thought required in our architecture the result of the interactive and collaborative process we incorporate in our design process. Our goal is always to keep owner/client is completely involved during the design. While the creation of new spaces and buildings is never effortless, in the end, the hope is to have it appear as though the solution and outcome was obvious to both us and the clients.

During entire history of its practice, Jackson Harlan has looked specifically for design projects that have or can have a great impact on the on both the general public and the individuals that use the buildings and spaces we are charged to design. We seek out both public and private work with clients that are willing to embrace the design process and work with us to create functioning and timeless environments or buildings. During the design and construction process, we apply all our energies in the collaboration of making the best project for our clients.  Our most successful projects are the ones that we are currently working on, not our past or future projects.
